What does Beacon Foundry do?
Beacon Foundry provides policy research and design services, management consulting, and strategic planning to clients that work to strengthen our region and the families that live here.
We think of our work as “program and policy development as-a-service” for advocacy organizations, coalitions, and nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts. We specialize in providing a positive set of solutions to problems in three key issue areas:
Poverty + Inequality
Inequality isn’t inevitable. With data-driven policies and practical steps, we can raise the floor for all of our neighbors and build a more equitable Commonwealth.
Families + Children
Investing in families means investing in the future. Thoughtful policies that start with family needs and work backwards will ensure that every child has the support they need to thrive.
Housing + Community
Communities flourish when housing is abundant, mass transit is accessible, and public space is a foremost priority. Commonsense approaches to fixing the “rules of the game” in community development can form a new foundation for growth.
